Henry Lewers is a theatrical music director, accompanist, pianist, and university instructor who has contributed to various Broadway, national tour, and summer stock theatre productions. Henry founded MotD in 2011.

Elise MacDonald is a multi-instrumentalist, educator, Berklee alumna, and a former music columnist for Boston’s Stuff Magazine. A MotD fan since the jump, she joined as a contributor in 2017.

Justine Beaver (JB) grew up as the only normie in a family of itinerant musicians and IWW organizers. She mostly listens to Piobaireachd, Prog Rock, and Baroque chamber music. JB’s most prized possession is her collection of 15/16 in./sec. open-reel field recordings of Cornish hobo music. She joined MotD in 2021.
Steck is a computer scientist and former working-stiff musician whose hobby is searching for modulations that are arcane, yet wholesome. He believes that the compact disc is humanity’s second-greatest invention (after the bicycle). He joined MotD in 2022.
Carlo Migliaccio works for Wyoming State Parks and is a pianist with a lifelong passion for music. His loving acquaintance with music theory often leaves him confused, but in a really enthusiastic, excited way. An avid follower from the start, he joined MotD in 2021.
